All human beings, by the mere fact of being human, enjoy human rights, and the State is obligated to protect and guarantee them. Among these rights are the right to human dignity, the right to personal integrity and security, the right to privacy, the right to free development of personality, the right to full reparation of harm, among others.

According to the Federal Penal Code, a person commits the crime of fraud by deceiving someone or taking advantage of their error to illicitly acquire something or gain an undue profit.

The Penal Code for the State of Sinaloa stipulates that a person commits a cyber crime if they knowingly and without right:

Individuals have the right to a life free from violence of any kind—psychological, physical, sexual, economic, and patrimonial.

Only if you give authorization can a police officer check the contents of your mobile phone, or the police must present a judicial order indicating that you are suspected of having committed a crime.

There is a judicial and civil system that can help you if you decide to report and seek justice to prevent this from happening again and to stop the perpetrator from continuing to abuse others.

Protection of Rights: The appeal allows for the protection of fundamental rights, ensuring they are respected during the criminal process and preventing potential abuses or violations.

Now, what the general population considers criminal authority may be a) the Public Ministry or b) the Criminal Judge. While there could be others, these are the ones we will address. When an agent of the Public Ministry issues a summons, it can have various purposes, such as collecting a statement as a witness, gathering our statement if we are under investigation, or requesting that we provide some element, document, or information. In any case, failure to attend a summons issued by an agent of the Public Ministry may legally result in a fine, arrest for up to 36 hours, or, in cases of extreme relevance, a request from the Public Ministry agent to the Criminal Judge for the issuance of a presentation or apprehension order against the summoned individual.

Article 342 of the Penal Code: Anyone who intentionally commits any act of mistreatment or cruelty against an animal shall be punished with imprisonment from 3 months to 2 years and a fine of 50 times the daily value of the current Unit of Measurement and Update.
