Defense of: Carlos X
We legally represented Carlos X, who faced criminal proceedings for firearm-related offenses and was subject to the precautionary measure of mandatory pretrial detention.
The defense strategy consisted of challenging the necessity of the precautionary measure, establishing community ties, favorable personal circumstances, and presenting objective elements that allowed the Judge to reconsider the proportionality of the imposed measure.
Result: a change in precautionary measure was obtained, allowing our client to continue his criminal proceedings in freedom, under less restrictive conditions.
